Kayla Bowman became an associate attorney at BAM in September, 2023 after joining the firm as a law clerk in August, 2023. Prior to passing the bar exam, her duties as a law clerk included assisting with motion drafting and legal research.
Kayla is a 2023 graduate of the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law where she was a member of the highly ranked and award-winning National Trial Team, which competed nationally in mock trial tournaments. At D.U. Kayla also received the Scholastic Excellence Award in Litigation Technology in 2023.
While at law school, Kayla worked as a County Court intern in the Denver District Attorney’s Office where her duties included managing the daily afternoon arraignment docket and creating and proposing plea bargain offers in misdemeanor county court cases.
Prior to that, Kayla worked as a volunteer intern in the Family Violence Unit of the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
Kayla is a 2020 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder where she earned a B.A. in both English Literature, summa cum laude, and Sociology, with distinction.
Kayla’s hobbies include painting and drawing, reading, and practicing martial arts and she loves spending time with her fiancée and their two cats, Archie and Charlie.
