Alexandra Goldstein became an Associate Attorney at BAM Family Law in October, 2021 after being admitted to the Colorado Bar. She had joined the firm as a law clerk in August, 2021 while awaiting her Bar Exam results.
Alexandra graduated from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in May, 2021 where she received a Scholastic Excellence Award for Highest Grade in Family Law in 2020 and the Most Innovative Program Award in 2021.
While at D.U. Alexandra took part in mock trial competitions around the country as a member of the school’s vaunted National Trial Team. She also served as Co-President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association and as a Board Member of the Moot Court Board.
In 2021 Alexandra worked as a Judicial Intern in the Denver Juvenile Court where she provided the Court with case law updates related to juvenile delinquency and dependency and neglect, researched and wrote legal memorandum on a wide array of legal issues for the Court, and studied the case progression of multiple juvenile proceedings.
Prior to that, and while at law school, Alexandra worked in the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office as both a County Court and an Appellate intern. Her duties included conducting motions hearings, participating in criminal misdemeanor trials, co-managing a busy traffic court docket, researching legal issues, writing briefs, and drafting motions.
Before attending law school Alexandra worked as a clerk for the Honorable Fred Biery of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in San Antonio, Texas.
Alexandra earned a B.A. degree in Political Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 2018.
In her spare time she enjoys watching the San Antonio Spurs, true crime podcasts, cooking, reading historical non-fiction, and taking hikes with her fiancé and her dog, Vinnie, named after a famous one-eared artist.
