BAM PC Promotes Madeleine Sheahan to Associate Attorney

BAM PC promotes Madeleine Sheahan to Associate Attorney. The Denver Family Law Firm announced that Madeleine R. Sheahan has been promoted to associate attorney after being admitted to the Colorado Bar in November, 2018.

 

Madeleine joined the firm as a law clerk in August, 2018, after graduating from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in the top 15 percent of her class.  

 

“We are so excited to announce Madeleine’s promotion to associate attorney,” said BAM shareholder Margot Alicks.  “We look forward to Madeleine being an invaluable member of our team; she brings significant trial skills to the table, having been an Advocate’s Cup winner at D.U. and an accomplished member of the law school’s National Trial Team.”

 

Madeleine has interned and volunteered for a variety of non-profits, legal organizations and area law firms.  In 2017, she worked as a judicial extern for U.S. District Court Magistrate Kristen L. Mix.  Prior to joining BAM, she worked as a summer associate for a Greenwood Village law firm, where she assisted with litigation and real estate matters.

Madeleine joined the BAM family as a law clerk upon her graduation from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in the top 15 percent of her class. She was promoted to associate attorney after being admitted to the Colorado Bar in November, 2018.

 

Madeleine is a talented legal mind with significant trial skills, and in law school received the Advocate’s Cup 2017 Best Advocate Award. She was a National Ethics Trial Competition Finalist and a member of the National Trial Team. Madeleine also received the Westminster Law Library Certificate in Legal Research and a LexisNexis Professional Research Certificate. Madeleine’s skills in developing trial strategy through excellent legal research, persuasive trial presentation, and attention to detail have set her up for a brilliant legal career, and BAM is thrilled to have her start that career amongst its ranks.
